Nope. A trump sandwich....white bread, stuffed with baloney, Russian dressing and a tiny pickle.

Baloney attracts yellow jackets, be my guest.

Have you ever noticed that Mickey's Bigmouth has a yellow jacket printed on the underneath side of their bottle caps? There is a reason for that.

I know. sorry. I gave up on the political thread long ago. I think there's about three people left, all yelling at each other.

Last time I sailed Lopez was July 2014. The lake was at 489'. There was no water in Mallard Cove but it was sailable then. Lake level is now 495'. Unless all of the small trees and bushes that have grown in the last two and a half years are still too close to the surface it should be good to go.

I was up there on 2-27-16, The lake was at 57% I think you can sail it now. The issue is and will be the trees that grew while the windsurfing area was dry. Some were over my head the last time I walked down there. The branches on these trees looked to be 2 inches thick and will not rot away quickly. The tops of the trees are now just under water. It would be best if we could get at least 5 more feet to ensure a safe down wind ride.

July 2014 was the last time I sailed there as well. I was camped at Blue Jay and hiked my gear down to Mallard Cove and launched from there, working my way up wind. At the end of the day I came ashore in the cove and my son was able to drive down to the waters edge and pick me and my gear up which got me to my ice chest that much sooner.
