when people say SUP - i think of stand up paddle
cuz that's what we have here
i look at the video and it looks like surfing with a SUP
should we call that SUP surfing ??
rather than SUPping ??

When are best times of year for SUP surfing? For wave sailing? The SUP in the morning and sail in the afternoon sounds like a dream. |

That does look awesome! Nice footage ... Was that done with a drone? If so, was the operator on the beach? |

I went in April about 2 years ago, it was a great time, I think I stayed right where the drone in the video was launched. In the morning, we'd rent SUPs out to the reef (.25-.5 mile off the beach) where there would be some nice waves.
In the afternoon, the wind would pick up and we'd we windsurf the same break. Really good times.
By night, drinks by the water. Cabarrette is a great place!

dc you are spot on Cabarete is a special place, sup surf in the am, windsurf/kitesurf in the afternoon, chicka surf at night and only 3-1/2 hours from NY
if there was ever a time to chase a swell to the Dr it is for big saturday,
these gale force NW winds are going to send an epic swell to the DR
