Im in the process of building skatesail rigs/with board and was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying a set-up? I skatesail nearly everyday in Santa Barbara and found the perfect size sail being a 3.7m raf wave. Also dacron sails are much more durable and theyre luffable! Post a reply if interested. Aloha, Ken. |

Mark, finding good parking lots with wind, good surface, and no security hassels can be pretty hard. Ive been kicked out of my fair share! Anyways Ive found the bikepath along SB can be fun midweek but too crowded on weekends. Ive also found a six mile stretch of killer smooth bikepath with consistent 8-15mph onshore winds down in Santa Monica. Also midweek parking lots in Venice beach are fun.If you know of any others let me know! I was toying with the idea of amassing rigs for others but now I think Ill just sail on land and water. Aloha, Ken |
