I was just wondering why Small Craft Advisories for the Bay and Delta don't seem to be appearing in the Watches/Warnings section of the North Bay Forecast. For example there's one today from 3 to 9 p.m. on the NWS website, but the only one appearing on the iWindsurf Forecast site is for the Coast. |

That's what we pay iW for: making their own forecasts rather than parroting the other sources. Whether that helps or hurts seems random.
HOWEVER ... The Gorge has been getting SCAs almost every day this year: "Small craft may as well stay home, 'cause there ain't gonna be enough wind for them" (except for widespread frontal passages, and we know what they tend to produce. I call 'em Drive-Bys, because they drive past, fire a few passing shots, and split for Idaho). |

Friday, you can look out your window to know it's windy.
Today, not so much. |

Mike or someone at iwindsurf? If you are going to post the Small Craft Advisories, you need to be consistent at least. Either post all of the relevant ones or not! |
