Thinking of my first Caribbean trip.
My wife (and I) is spoiled by Hatteras waist deep water:
Cabarate seems to have nice flat water/bump and jump and then some intro to hopefully wave sailing;
My question is the flat water shallow or over my wifes 54 head?
She can waterstart and is just starting to jibe. |

Cabarete is not waste deep.
Just came back from Margarita. It was ripping. Several 3.5 days and for 2 weeks every day was at worst 5.2! Water waste deep and 80F. Life is cheap. Bring lots of cash - they dont do credit cards much. |

ps I can bump jump jibe but have not done waves: any beginner wave sets in Margarita or is it all gnarly 5 crash on cral reef stuff?
Thanks again Tom
