Ron, since you mention sailing a lot .. I just have to post the tracks of the guy who did 211 jibes last Friday, planed through most of them, and had a top speed of 32.2 knots (about 2x as fast as some of the slower windsurfers). No, that was not me, but the Kalmus regulars will know who.
Kalmus has been great since the middle of June, allowing for 13 planing sessions. Could have been a couple more, but some days we were just too tired to go .

Admirable. You gotta really love windsurfing to go back and forth 100 times and gybe 200 plus times. Know I couldn't do it.

What GPS system ? I was looking at Trace, but no way to keep your tracks private. Ripcurl watch looks good on paper, and has a "private" mode, but gets mixed reviews.
