A Gorge Cup race is scheduled for Saturday, and the forecast says mid to upper teens. Does that mean we'll get to see foil racing at the Event Site tomorrow? |

Foils on the slalom course? Heck yeah! That's totally legit.
Gorge Cup #5, 10-20+mph, 6-buoy downwind slalom: windsurf racers on 7.8s to 9.6s, foilers on 5.2s to 7.0s. Foilers 1st and 2nd overall. Windsurfers faster when powered on the reaches, foilers faster in the lulls, acceleration and leagues faster through the jibes.
Shift happens. |

Yes, you put on a great show.
Especially the "mythical foiling jibes" at every mark.
Foils are the future. |

So I didn't see any wind foilers in the Gorge Cup race yesterday (I only caught the last heat), but I think I saw a couple in the Blowout. Any results to report? |
