Uploaded a vid from sailing over the last year or so on my classic Protech Z26. Summer is nearing the end so will soon be time to wear a shorty again. I have a new Starboard Isonic 117 to take over so will be interesting to see how we get on!

Killer video, Nipping! Loved the variety and the editing is great, particularly back and forth between the smiling selfie speedy woman sailor and your POV. Very cool all around, thanks for posting!
Next time, though, will you please pull up next to Groupama and then pass them, leaving them in your wake? (ha) |

Great video scottybda! One of the best by far. Makes me want to visit Bermuda as I live in New England and it is close. Thanks for posting! |

Thanks guys! Yeah she's speedy alright, good thing I've got the cams and techy gear!
Yeah would have been cool to pull up next to Groupama, wind was light that day so they waited till I was wallowing before springing their surprise attack! It looked like to me they saw me and tacked over, the skipper waving as he clipped past me. The French are big into windsurfing, so wouldn't be surprised.
I smiled in this vid as a few kids were like, what AC50, we're on starboard damn it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmrpiT_1cf4
Miss the AC boats, much quieter on the water without them. Feel it's a shame they are going to ditch the foiling cats as they were for sure amazing!

VERY nice. Loved to see how you were buzzing by all the boats (including the Optis and the Moth). Would have been epic if the AC boats tossed you a beer like the first Cat skipper.
Hmmm. Are there rental shops in Bermuda? |

I know a sweet mix when I see one, and the time it takes to make it right.
Sweeeeet!

yeah if they tossed a beer that would have been awesome! Or even better to get a spin on one of the boats, a few of my friends did!
Cheers Craig!

Windsurfed in Bda for years. Loved the video.........bought it all back. Was it Somerset Long Bay at the beginning of the video? |

Awesome. Reminds me of the old days sailing across Biscayne Bay with my buddy, who had a Protech similar to that one. |

Was Somerset Long bay in the beginning. The Protech is still blazing fast, still my goto board!
This is my new ride, but kinda feels a tad big for a direct replacement. I think wonder if width is the determining factor? Ie... if you want to replace a treasured board that is from 15 - 20 years ago is the best way to match the width? I say this because lengths have reduced and so have volumes as a result. Could be the ideal board is just slightly wider.
