A good way to connect with other local windsurfers is through the New Jersey Windsurfing and Watersports Association. Website is at http://windsurfnj.org/

Most members sail out of Sandy Hook, the Flats or Long Beach Island. Unfortunately, things are winding down for the year, but check out the newsletters on the website, for now.

We have a "Spring into Windsurfing" get together sometime in May, and some instructional clinics throughout the summer. And yes, ABK next October is highly advised. In the mean time, H2 windsurfing offers 1-2 hour lessons in and around Monmouth County.

Welcome to windsurfing. Your life will never be the same, in a good way.

Almost forgot. If/when you're in need of gear, check out Extreme Windsurfing at Lakes Bay, near Atlantic City - https://www.extremewindsurfing.com/

Jim will provide top of the line gear, at a good price; better if you're a NJWWA member.

Go see Ken and Eileen Hoff of H2 Windsurfing in Point Pleasant for some lessons. Both are ABK super trained and quite good in all conditions. www.h2windsurfing.com.

I'll second that. I know them from Long Island ABK clinics...they're excellent windsurfers and all about getting people on the water.
