If yours is a 2017 or 2018, they've changed it to 469. If you've ordered an earlier closeout (big discounts available), the 6.4 had a 467 luff while the 6.9 was 486.

Oh..you do have a valid point, so you are correct with a new 2016 then..
Hardly likely it exists anywhere new.

I looked at my extensions, the only one that could, and probably would damage the Mast was the Chinook, used without the adjuster, in particular the RDM alloy.

None of these IMO opinion would, Severne, Hot Sails, Unifiber, and Streamlined can’t be used at all, no bottom top.

So like many other things , they are all different, errrrr mostly.

Thanks for all of the input guys! I definitely plan on using the collar and I ended up getting the Chinook extension. My next question may be extremely simple, but what is the second part of the collar for, and is it necessary? It slides right off and my other extension doesn't have this second piece.

For SDM, mast fits over the plastic keeping pins in. For RDM, the mast sits on top of that second piece, which is necessary to keep pins engaged.

This is what I thought too but the mast doesn't fit around the piece with the pins. It just sits on top of the first piece if you take the ring off.

I think the old style pin-and-collar setup has a lower profile than this current setup, as this newer plastic setup uses 2 sets of holes, the old one just used one set of holes and the next set above was visible. You'd have to call Chinook to see if the pin-and-collar is compatible; the holes just need to be the same size. Needing only one set of holes increases the range of adjustment too, can go one notch higher.
