Planning to sail West Dennis tomorrow. I heard the town doesn't want us launching at the east end of WD Beach, which is the desired site for SE conditions. We've always done this in the past during off-season & never had any issue with anyone ever. Could try another beach to the east but really - can't the town relax just a bit???!!! Comments, anyone?

As an ex Yarmouth resident, I would go to Seagull beach as long as it's not in season. Better conditions.

Good luck Mike

Heading to West Dennis also, but maybe thinking of Seagull because of town issues

Hi! Sailed east end of West Dennis Beach yesterday with no access issues. Arrived around 1pm to diminishing wind after a squall. About 6 sailors were off the water from a short ~4.7 session. After a quick peak of high 20's, it dropped again, and I rigged a 5.8. Got lucky with a maxed out session on a 90 liter board, til it dropped again. Choppy but fun with an occasional small wave. /Dan
p.s. Why is everyone so cryptic in this forum - wacky aliases? Secret spots?

Villani, Was the name of Seagull changed ?

Yarmouth did change Bass Hole to Greys beach years ago. Sounded too much like ass-hole (what I heard).

I do have a secret SE spot that I neglected to mention.
