Trying to get an assessment of where people are thinking of sailing tomorrow/Monday's winds due to Phillippe. Right now I am thinking of Matunuck.

Probably be a group of us at Hammonasset around noon. Wind is averaging 30 with gusts to 50 right now in Old Saybrook. Waves should be good!

People were sailing at the Barn Island Boat Ramp at the end of Palmer Neck Rd in Stonington. The speed sailors got some personal bests today in the lee of Sandy Point, a small sand bar island between Watch Hill (Napatree) Rhode Island and Stonington CT.

Nice pics. My camera crew wouldn't come to the beach (Nahant) because it was too windy, but I got a couple from the GoPro. I missed the magic window when it was S / SSW, but managed to get a few runs on the 3.7 when it was blowing almost straight off shore (gusts close to 50 I'm told)!
