Visiting my parents and got nasty drive back to DC on Sunday/Monday.
I need to hit the water and if forecast holds for tomorrow, i like to hit the water.
What spot is best and is anyone planning to sail if wind materializes tomorrow?
Thanks |

yes, there are a few or more of us hoping to sail jupiter inlet today.. we are waiting to see the details of swell arriving/building and what winds decide to do. winds look likely to build in sideshore or close nnw/north and hopefully a swell with enough size to not disappear as tide comes in and it gets deeper through the afternoon.. if winds stay nw we either sail the inlet sideoff or go a few miles north to hobe sound north end park.. if winds are sideshore as predicted, but wave hidden by incoming tide, then we go to hobe sound public(bridge rd. east to ocean).. but hopefully we get the winds to build in down here and enough swell to let the inlet wrap and reel them down the line.. Best wishes, john in jupiter
p.s. early/earlier in the day the strongest winds looked to be on the north side of the cape possibly at playa linda, in case you are driving north a few days earlier. |
