The Exocet foil board understands the challenge of carrying a board and foil and has a handle built in. Hopefully all boards will go that way in the future.
I wear a seat harness and found when I walk into the water with the sail and board I can rest my boom on top of my harness, which then supports the board too so I do not have to drag it.
Getting out in the shore break I just decided to do it in two steps so I take the sail off and then have 2 hands to deal with the board and then walk back out and grab the sail.
I agree, foiling is easier on the body. I find myself now doing longer sessions than I could before. |
