Saturday at the Event Site looked like a photo shoot for the new Sailworks Flyer.

Why did I buy a foil? I got tired of watching the kiters have all the fun in light winds while I stood with my arms crossed waiting for that extra 6knts of wind.

Foiling will stop the hemoraging of windsurfers leaving for kiting. It solves windsurfing's biggest dilemma, the amount of wind needed.

I'm still a newbie but after 3 sessions, I'm hooked on this thing, it's a whole new feeling, sport and challenge. I can't stop thinking about it, I'm almost wanting NOT to have strong winds so that I can do more of it!

As for cost? Find an old fat board nobody wants and convert it to a deep tuttle. Lot's of foil options on the market that won't break your bank.
