To my liberal friends, who is James T. Hodgkinson?
"Who?"
James T. Hodgkinson, a largely forgotten volunteer for Bernie Sanders and a radical left wing shooter who fired off more than 50 rounds at a softball practice game in Virginia last June, severely wounding Congressman Steve Scalise, and some others in the process.
Did we get marches against the NRA and gun violence after that? No.
Did we get a CNN setup town hall to shred NRA on TV? No.
Did we get late night jokes and commentary by the usual suspects? No.
Did the main stream media clamor for stronger gun laws? No.
Is there underlying politics behind behind gun control? You bet your sweet ass.
Slamming the NRA is a left wing political waste of time and effort. Their lobbying efforts are only about 1/10 of the effort and expense that the various unions invest in for their liberal causes.
Not connecting the warning flags, and fixing it, is the only thing that should be the point of focus.
Even the Broward County sheriff Scott Israel was blaming the NRA during the CNN town hall debacle. His head should be the first to roll, the more he talks, the deeper his hole becomes, he needs to be fired. Now over 40 calls to his department all about Cruz, seriously? Not to even mention the FBI's dropping of the ball as well.
But no, it's the fault of the NRA! |

Correct you are sir! Even the Trumpster asked how many of the people in the meeting about gun control were afraid of the NRA! They wield great power with their political contributions and threats of boycotting anyone who does not see things their way. It's called political influence and more recently collusion.
Have a hunting rifle and have a good time. Anything else is off limits to me.
The reason people get in an uproar is mostly about semi-automatic weapons in the hands of anyone who can afford them.
What's next, RPGs?
Get a f'n grip and grow up.
No need for AK's and AR's and everything else in the hands of the general population.
Want an insult, just let me know! |
