Remove boom head. Purchase a sturdy vise from HARBOR FREIGHT. Install boom head with support material to cushion jaws.
Obtain a carbon set of needle nose pliers from the NASA outlet store.
Soak rope overnight in virgin olive oil. Clean area with flushable Baby wipes.
Install headlamp onto forehead, HARBOR FREIGHT source again, carefully pick apart the line until it becomes loose enough to extract. Dentist may be a source of additional tools.

Any number of replacement lines available at WEST Marine, best to take boom head for fitting. Take care to color match cord/line with other accessories.

Okay, now that's funny. Was any scotch whiskey harmed in the preparation of this response?

Nah. Gatorade and Tequila

BTW, I need help writing a brief, NASA and Homeland Security have again turned down my application for a rocket launch

Ah!, I expect that's because of an abundance of fins on any of your proposals, which in all probability would create a massive vortex at launch, sucking the gantry and half the countryside up into the stratosphere.

N.A.S.A. have to consider such things, you know!

The reverse has shown in computer generated launches . The fins need more toe in, more area and lighter weight materials. Looking for a cheap source of titanium.

The folks at CNC fins have been very helpful using their reasearch lab on Maui for prototypes.
