It seems like more people are switching to smaller front wings (kite sized) when foiling in the stronger winds. This allows you to carry a slightly bigger sail (so you can waterstart) and also sheet in and go faster (more like regular windsurfing). I suspect this is the key to being able to foil at the advanced sites on the windier days. |
