Used Euro a long time, NO problems in sand at Hatteras EVER, no other issues.

Fiberspar IMO made decent masts, nothing else. HOw long have they not sold here..? 5/8 years ?

the sand/grit problem was something a PWA guy told about why he had both. racers tend to have lotsa rigs ready to go in really windy, and sometimes sandy spots that's when american cup is better.

i have aeron euro pins. very little problems

Ever tried to disconnect a 2 bolt with frozen hands? Stick with the Euro.

the 2 bolt mast plate allows one to remove the mast extension from below

You have tougher fingers than I. The only joint I'll use with a 2-bolt is mechanical, any misalignment binds it right up.
