I have a Slingshot foil.., and i need to get longer bolts for the Tuttle Box to board attachment.

The bolt is an M10.., but i am not sure whether it's a 1.25mm, or 1.5mm thread pitch.

I tried to measure it, and I think it is 1.5mm.., but i'm not sure.

Does anyone here know?

I called Slingshot, and they are going to get back to me about it...

Lay the bolt down next to a metric ruler and count the number of threads over a 15 mm span. If you count 10 threads it’s 1.5 mm pitch. 12 threads = 1.25 pitch.

There are a number of sites online that will let you print a bolt thread gauge. One of them is here...

This is on the boltdepot.com site. Look it up.

Looks like 1.5 to me. The difference is easier to see if you double the length that you're counting over. 20 vs 24 threads at 3cm... In the pic below, I count 18 threads at 3 cm, but there is space for two more near the head of the bolt. Definitely not enough space for 6 more threads.

On a somewhat related note, Slingshot now offers an insert so that you can use regular old M6 fin bolts if you want to. This setup is clearly not as burly as the original titanium M10 bolts that they supply the foil with, but it will be pretty convenient if you're using the Slingshot foil on a different brand's board.
