Hi Gang,

Below are updated animations and satellite imagery with the last showing the arrival of the eddy-induced marine surge today, Sunday morning.

From Thursday: Most models agree that an unusual "mega eddy" pattern develops along the west coast from Baja Norte to north of Bodega Bay this Sunday. This will bring southerly winds to all of that coast. How strong those winds will be is unclear at this time. But probably not promising for Southern California, Central California coast and Bay coast and Bay sites S. of the Bay Bridge.

Favored sites for a marine surge will be north tower to Treasure Island to Pt. Isabel to Davis Pt. Sherman Island. Also Brickyards/Peacock Gap and Larkspur

Here is a rough draft of a blog telling the story:

Hi Gang,

As you can see in the satellite image below the "mega eddy" is working its way up the Central California coast from Southern California and should induce a marine surge in the Bay Area Sunday.

Com'on, not another Eddie? Hate them! The last Eddie I like is Eddie Debartolo.

Hi Gang,

Here is satellite animation from Friday night to 7AM today, Sunday, of the "mega eddy" and the marine surge it has brought to the Bay Area.
