Tried to dial wind today at San Luis and was semi successful.
Arrived at Noon to try get some mid 5.0 before the predicted afternoon
blow. At 1 pm no planning on 5.6 st 2 pm could find some patches.
At 3 pm starting to fill in and stayed on the 5.6 till 5 pm.
English Dave and the RV guys on the Mederos sailed over and said
Hi. The water level was a little lower than it had been and a Weed fin
in needed. You can see the slick spot in the Cove and they are just under the
surface on the South side.
Three or four out on the South shore just me on the North. |

I think it's not that bad ,just bruises and swollen parts.
I was walking around OK today no pain, not really even
a limp. Only hurts a little when I try to bend the foot towards
the leg.
My right foot looks about a size fatter than the left one though .
Got caught in the right strap while jibbing at a pretty good
speed and fin ran aground in the shallows.
It hurt like hell when it happened I thought I had finally
bit the big one. Probably the worst injury I have had windsurfing.
I hate missing time on the water when its been so good finally .
A big thanks to David on the safety patrol for getting me back
to the other side with my gear. If you see him tell him I am in pretty good shape.
I saw you had pulled up about the time I was leaving. |

Went today but wind wise not good.
Yes at 221.3 the weeds are starting to poke through
in a few places like the cove and the mediros shore especially
along the tree line. It was kind of stinky on the mediros side
today. Several of the RV people over there and a lot of fishermen.
4 or 5.
Doesn't look like they have sprayed yet. |

3km report doesn't seem to be working that good.
Went today Aug 1st . Water Level 222.8 pretty high .
Weed patches on the North side right at the Tree and a Little
bit along the beach. Easily avoided and pretty clear in the middle.
5.6 had to work for it 50 percent of the time . Peaked about 3pm then never came back. What's with that.
My own personnel lake today. |

Still too much heat in the central valley! Fresno cooking.
This weekend looks like it may be good. |
