There is an interesting article about Ocasio-Cortez by David Remnick in the July 23 New Yorker. To be sure, NW won't pay attention to anything to the left of Fox news. Nor will he give sources for his bullshit cartoons. She has a pretty inspiring story, and her brand of Democratic Socialism. "Her agrnda is in line with the Sanders agenda: single-payer universal health care, equal rights for women and sexual minorities, a fiftenn-dollar minimum wage, guaranteed employment. "No person should be too poor to live" is her credo."
Compared to selling out NATO and the US to make money in Russia, pussy grabbing, philanderers, and 6 lies a day, it sounds pretty refreshing. |
How "refreshing", along with Cuba and Venezuela, have at it.
You say "Democratic Socialism" as if that's supposed to be something new, you may as well be saying "socialism works if the right people are imposing it".
"RRRRRIP!!!!" the sound of your party being torn in half.
Since when do we starve our poor to death? |

Hark, I hear Trump. Is it a lie or just someone who doesn't care aboiut facts:
Results of the Democratic Party presidential primaries, 2016
Candidate Hillary Clinton Bernie Sanders
Home state New York Vermont
Delegate count 2,842 1,865
Contests won 34 23
Popular vote 16,914,722 13,206,428
Whatever, Matty is posting nonsense again. Don't confuse him with facts, he's busy making some up. |

mac you post that like it was a fair primary, what a joke.
You must have been fine with it being rigged.
I agree with mat-ty, if it wasn't rigged, Bernie would have taken it, he was drawing bigger crowds than your sweetheart.

Idiot norway sweden, Japan, germany, holland and so on are so much more socialist than your listed Putin republics. I know you love what Putin does to countries.
A core difference is the ultra poor ones you mentioned are deep into a religious controlled government... Like ours is becoming. _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

I normally don't respond to you because you're just like Maxine Waters, worthless, but you mentioned some countries that the libs love to bring up.
I'll never understand why liberals like to bring up countries like that as some sort of model that our country should be trying to emulate, as if they are so much better than us, they are not. What's so special about western Europe (or similar), and why won't the people who believe that just move there if it's so much better? Hell, just take the multitude of celebs who have given some sort of statement like if he gets elected, I'm leaving the country, or if this passes, I'm leaving the country, none of them ever do, which is actually too bad, but it also proves my point.
So you libs out there go ahead and follow the lead of the "new face of the democrat party", as the head of the DNC, Tom Perez says, "Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez". It's going to be very entertaining for us in the center, and to the right of center.
A little something for your reading enjoyment.

Coherence and deep thinking is not what we have come to expect from the rabid right. NW and his buddies are all in on socialism for the rich and corporate. In this system, we steal from two generations with tax cuts that benefit those who have billions. We cut financial regulations on those who gambled, took the economy down the tubes, and got bailouts from the hoi polloi. We transfer the health costs of products from the corporations who make money from them to the society at large.
NW is actually all in on socialism--for some. |
