You know, I've never had a problem removing my masts from my sails, but I will admit to never having an Ezzy sail. Maybe they make the task of rigging an onerous task.
You initially said that you always have someone help you pull your mast out from your sail. Believe it or not, many of us often sail alone with no posts around, so the process of rigging and de-rigging must be done without any help. As far as wear and tear on sails, I've never damaged one rigging or de-rigging in my 32 years of windsurfing, and I should point that some of my sails are 15-17 years old. |
