|

Hi
I am an intermediate Windsurfer and mainly surf on flat water. Down the line i have the ambition to surf waves.
I am looking to replace my old Gaastra manic 5.6 that worked very well for me and I already bought second hand.
Now i got reading on the different styles of sails, Freeride, Wave, Crossover, Freerace... and I am wondering what would be the best to get.
I already have a Severene Blade 4.7, and a Loft lip wave 6.2 which are both wave sails bought second hand. the masts are North Gold 400 SDM, and another North 430 RDM
I am looking to bridge the gap, the idea is to get a 5.2. and 5.7 ideally both North as they would suit the masts best. I am now looking at a North Super Hero 2018 which is a wave sail.
Main sailing conditions are 12-20 knots on flat water.
any thoughts? Wave sail? Freeride sail for speed?
much appreciated!

The only issue with the North Super Hero may be compatibility with your North 400 SDM mast. The North website lists only the Super Hero sizes 5.9 and larger using either an SDM or RDM. All of the Hero models list RDM only.
The 5 batten Super Sessions and the Volt lists compatibility with both SDM and RDM masts. |
