Boards due have different constructions , and even paint. What did work for one could work again, or not

I have used bags and not bags, if wet I advise no bag without reservation.

So, you could buy a beater board on Craig's list, and use it till it melts, or cooler temperatures come.

Another option would be to fashion a white or foil-sided tented tarp from the roof rack, mostly NOT touching the board, so there's air-flow between the "tent" and the board. 2 hoops of stiff tubing from Home Depot, cut into 2-4 half rounds, tied to the roof rack would work...maybe
