One of those days, surf is where you find it-
I could have used a 5.2 or something but hung tough and hauled @$$ with a 6.0.
There were no lulls and 100% sunshine
Just as I was leaving, a very rare kiter launched. he was getting very decent jumps off the chop.
It was probably the first time in many years since I left my trusty Haut at home. My hand-me-down Sailboard Carve 99 from Gerda's Bruce performed vey well at the sail's limit.
Thanks Bruce! |

It would be nice to catch the last half of the Pat's.
Parking might be a little tricky with a solid high tide at 1:30
enjoy the day!

OC, you foiled at PB yesterday?
How does it shed the weeds?

Where to sail tomorrow? Never been here before, but I'm staying in Falmouth and I'm arranging for a rental to take advantage of the forecast. I can handle waves if they're not too big. Or flatwater would be fun too. |

Tommorow...Monday is Rain
If you are into all that, and are in Falmouth...Try Waqoit Bay
The Ocean (Nauset and all) will be a mess
Yes, foiled Jacknife yest...Chapin today...weeds not an issue at all...Chapin was great for high tide, but once it got shallow...foilmare |

The Orleans boat ramp to Pleasant Bay works with east winds. You have to tack up hard to get out of the boats and clear wind. |
