Bush1 administration, Clinton administration, Bush2 administration, and entire Obama administration. All incompetent. They allowed the government unions to grow filthy and uncontrolled.

Come on Bard, if Brennan was a registered communist, he would have never received a security clearance, much less being the Director of the CIA under any administration.

Clearly, you're much dumber than I thought, and based on NW30's comments, he's empty upstairs too. Total Trump bots in action.

Thank you, oh wise one, to whom we owe so much, and to who's opinion is so invaluable.

You're assuming whoever signed off on his security clearance is beyond reproach. Like I said, the swamp goes way back.

The "swamp" and "the deep state" BS is total nonsense used by a deceptive con man and liar like Donald Trump and those on the far right. I don't buy that kind of crap for second, and I have to wonder why you do.

There are approximately 5 million people who still have security clearance, most of them no longer need it, and the country doesn't need most of their outdated opinions. The rules should be changed, there is no reason for a law to change, it's only been a practice that has been largely forgotten by most people. I'm glad it's now in the open. The ones that are whining are the swamp dwellers.

wow seems you want to break something that ain't broken you moron. classic
unthought through knee-jerk right wing logic.

Things have been working apparently till the trump started doing business with the Russians to bail him out. I think the number is since 1984 he has sold 100 million dollars of properties to mostly un-named Russians for CASH. and more that were corps or so on. So who owns the trumpster... CASH sales are generally money laundering, remember the famous reported statement by trump Jr, as we know trump could not get a loan in the USA for many years because the banks saw his financials. Anyway, Jr told someone money is no problem the russians have been their source.

Yep, you trust the government with all your heart, unless they have anything to do with Trump, or are a Republican, or a conservative. That doesn't leave much, but you guys trust what's left, and all their staff, and everything they do,,,,,,, with all your heart.

from Mac's politifact post:
Quote:
Brennan has openly confirmed voting for a Communist Party candidate for president in 1976. But the DeSantis campaign did not provide evidence that he was a card-carrying party member, and we did not find any.

Voting for a particular candidate in a party does not make the voter a member of that party.

Fine, no proof that he was a member of the Communist Party, but what it doesn't say is that he chose to vote for a Communist candidate over Ford and Carter. Just maybe, at the time he felt that Communism was the best option. Not even maybe!

Actually, young post graduate students are generally pretty stupid, so the fact that Communism was to his political liking at the time doesn't bother me that much.

That said, why would any President want EX-government employees that are antagonists to be able to keep their security clearance? Plus the claim that Trump did it to shut them up is really, really stupid. Clearly, they would and are shouting louder than ever before as a result. It's not about payback, it's about TRUST.

It’s about being vindictive, petty, vengeful, catty and venomous. This is Trumps only playbook. It’s all he knows. He’s a child. A fourth grade bully. An infant. As if Brennan is colluding with the Russians. Cry me a river.

Probably, but that's a result of Brennan's behavior. Besides the pettiness, why would Trump or any President TRUST an EX-EMPLOYEE who is clearly vindictive?

You guys seem to avoid discussing or acknowledging the obvious point of TRUST and harp on Trump's pettyiness. You dodge the real issue. Maintaining Brennan's security clearance serves NO purpose for Trump.
