As per friends of mine who sail there, they are still sailing. Downwind there are things to watch out for, upwind, it's still clean. So it's more about the wind at this time of year, pay attention to the thermal differential between the coast and inland. |

Its just ok at this point. You need to stay up wind to avoid the brush sticking out of the water. That said the sailing area is shrinking dayley |

Sailed the lake yesterday and it's getting kinda sketchy. The brush tops are filling into the jibe areas now making the runs shorter than ever. Still doable but my normal sailing zone is done until the rains come this winter. Glad it lasted most of the season. I'll miss having it as a backup for the days when the coast ain't happening. Hope for rain. |
