Kavanaugh is unimpressive, we can do better. Gorsuch is impressive, I think he will be a good judge, Kavanaugh not so much....

mat-ty, I glad that boggsman called you on the above nonsense, because you really do stand out as a blatant hypocrite. When McConnell and his cronies were the senate minority, they employed the filibuster a record number of times. Historically, nothing even comes close. That's a fact you can't escape from.

Because McConnell changed the rules and took the filibuster off the table when it comes to the approval of Supreme Court Justices, Democrats really don't have the numbers to stop Kavanaugh's approval, and you know that. Yet, you're getting all bent and ugly that Democrats seem to be successful in delaying things a bit. Compare that with what McConnell did to Merrick Garland. That action was unprecedented in its obstruction and lack of cooperation.

You need to chill out a bit and learn to exercise some restraint.

Actually mat-ty, I did read the LA Times article earlier when you posted it. You know what's missing in McLauglin's comments? The time periods left in those presidential election years. Why do you think that he did that? Probably because none of it comes close to what McConnell did. Also, one wonders why McConnell employed manufactured BS that he called the "Biden Rule" when he could have cited the historical precedents McLaughlin touched on.

But going back to my post, you failed to address the hypocritical nonsense that you spewed for us. Why? Because it's true. And, you dodged the filibuster issue I raised. Again, because it's true. Democrats have never been that invested in obstruction and stonewalling, ever.

The sad thing is the fact that they have been the majority in both houses of Congress for too long with so little to show for it. Hopefully come November, we can change that.
