Joe,

Look at the slingshot Infinity 84cm if you decide to get a foil. It's definitely got the most lift.

i am about 235 lbs and was told need to start with LARGE front wing
NAISH front wings look larger

I had used the NP Aluminum for the first 4/5 months before switching to the F4 carbon and did not experience any mast bend, I weigh 205 lbs. It does take a bit more wind to foil up the Aluminum but it works very well.

You'll need a larger front wing but its not just the foil size for heavier riders, its going to take a combination of sail, board and foil to really push the low wind limit. Also a good pumping technique!

Couple of great choices: The Naish Thrust (upgrade to the 90cm mast) and the Slingshot Hover Glide (93cm mast). Both foil up nice and smooth without being overly sensitive.

Did you get the Abracadabra system with your Naish? Game changer for me.

Coachg, yes I did..It's a fantastic piece of kit. I like how easy it is to adjust the foil and get it dialed in.

CoreAS

The new NP Glide Wind Foil looks very interesting with the 70 cm mast, the power box top and the potential to use 3 different front wing sizes. Which size front wing are you getting? After you ride it a few times could you please give us your feedback? It would be very useful to know how you think it compares to the Naish foil. Thanks.

Hey Mark, I ordered the glide WS small (I'll will be using in stronger winds).

As soon as I get a few sessions, I'll post how it feels.....thanks, Dean
