I have a couple SJCAM's (GoPro copy) and a couple Flymounts. These do well for 1st person filming and can be mounted anywhere on the boom or mast. However, I'd like to have an out-of-body experience and see my performance in the 3rd person. Perhaps I simply need to wait for robotic camera tech to improve and prices to come down. Or, for clones to come out. I've decided to pass on the Soloshot 3. I don't think what it delivers is worth the investment at this time. |

Call for an Uber and then pay the driver to film you instead of drive you somewhere! |

If you can't find a Windsurfer to assist you maybe try a Kiter. They're not afraid to help a guy out but it's sounding like you really want to do this by yourself with your own gear. Next time you're in the Gorge, lot's of people will be glad to help. |
