Trying to find what sizes if any that have been made above 550?
When the 12.5 sails were made; what size masts did they run on? Which companies made 12.5's? |

My Windwing 12.5 runs on a Gulftech 580 cm mast.

I had a 2001 or 2002 North 560 100% carbon the original owner had purchased to use with an Aerotech 12.0 |

he had NEVER seen any sail over 8.5
and sooo many masts over 520 described here...

Just sold a North 550 that rigged an 11.7 Warp, never rigged it. I can just foil a 7.2 with much less hassle (and not need to tote a formula board). If there isn't enough wind for that I'd rather rig a very powerful 8.5 on my raceboard.
Nothing sucks like slogging formula equipment. |

Hmm. Looks like it rigs on an aluminum mast and the downhaul is at the top? |

The mast is 100% carbon fiber. The downhaul runs inside the mast and is operated dynamically via smart chip on the fly for a wind range from 5 to 55 knots. Yet it costs only $49.95 at Harbor Freight. Such a deal! |
