Sigh. It’s too bad you stooges don’t actually understand what critical thinking is. In the case of the current tempest in a teapot, it is about the difference between anecdotal evidence and detectable trends. I don’t care if some third rate actor exaggerated a story or made it up. I don’t care if he is malicious or just crazy—or if he is right. A single incident, or even a handful, doesn’t constitute a trend. Perhaps if any of you had stayed awake in general science in high school you might remember that.

A person’s credibility is another matter. Bard has posted fake news repeatedly. He makes no effort to check the credibility of his stories, fails to cite his sources, and never acknowledges when they are proven wrong. His latest was an uncited source from Barry Goldwater—the most extreme right wing Senator of all-time, and one of the biggest losers. Daily Caller is an apologist web site for Trump and all things corporate. Spin is the nicest thing one could say about them.

You're right it is about THE TREND. The Trend is to condemn conservatives with little to no evidence, and then when proven wrong to double down or make lame excuses....

It started with Jump shot and the Cambridge police, Kavanaugh, Catholic school kid and the stolen valor Indian, and now the Maga country lie in Chicago... and there have been many others....Trend indeed.

mac: "Sigh. It’s too bad you stooges don’t actually understand what critical thinking is."

"Critical thinking" involves realizing that the black community cannot play the victim card indefinitely, which many, not all, are doing, trying to keep racism alive and well.
Smollett is no better than Tawala Brawley, in that he's trying to propagate hate, which in my book is a hate crime, plain and simple. The mainstream media, and Hollywood are also complicit in this, racism makes for good press, they don't want to lose that.

We now have Kamala Harris out there saying that everyone of all races need to have an equal chance at success. She lacks "critical thinking" also, they do have an equal chance, but the one thing they don't have is guaranteed success, nobody does. So if the black community wants to continue to play the victim card, it's at their own peril, nobody else's. Success comes from w/in, it's not given to you.
Many blacks know that and have become successful, but unfortunately, many of those same people are referred to as "Uncle Toms", because they aren't "down for the struggle", when in reality, those successful blacks are "critical thinkers".

So silly, so much diversion. This is from Alabama, where they still celebrate Jefferson Davis day as a state holiday. Treason is a good reason for a holiday, as long as it is in support of slavery, yes? And lest we forget, that Jeff Sessions voted against making Martin Luther King's birthday a holiday.

Bring back the Klan, they say in Alabama.

Quote:
By Antonia Noori Farzan February 19 at 6:30 AM
Two decades ago, the editor of the tiny Democrat-Reporter newspaper in Linden, Ala., was being talked about as a potential contender for the Pulitzer Prize. A congressional citation read on the floor of the House of Representatives in 1998 lauded “his truly American heroism and dedication to the truth” and called him “one of Alabama’s finest and most ethical journalists.” Glowing profiles in the New York Times, People magazine and the American Journalism Review highlighted his tenacious reporting and down-home Southern charm.

Now, Goodloe Sutton is back in the news again — this time because he recently called for mass lynchings and suggested that the Ku Klux Klan should return to “clean out” Washington.

“Time for the Ku Klux Klan to night ride again,” began a Feb. 14 editorial in the paper, which went on to claim that Democrats, along with some Republicans, were planning to raise taxes in Alabama. It concluded, “Seems like the Klan would be welcome to raid the gated communities up there.”

ADVERTISING

Sutton, who is also the paper’s publisher, could not immediately be reached for comment. He told the Montgomery Advertiser on Monday that he had written the editorial, which ran without a byline, and stood by it.

“If we could get the Klan to go up there and clean out D.C., we’d all been better off,” he told the paper, explaining, “We’ll get the hemp ropes out, loop them over a tall limb and hang all of them.”

During the same conversation, Sutton argued that the KKK “didn’t kill but a few people” and “wasn’t violent until they needed to be,” the Advertiser reported on Monday. He further suggested the Klan, a white supremacist hate group, was comparable to the NAACP. Sutton also added that people could call him, write him a letter or boycott the paper if they disagreed with his views.

When the Advertiser’s Melissa Brown asked him whether it was appropriate for a newspaper publisher to suggest that Americans should be lynched, Sutton replied, “It’s not calling for the lynchings of Americans. These are socialist-communists we’re talking about. Do you know what socialism and communism is?”

The editorial — which, like the rest of the paper, was not published online — first started getting attention on Monday afternoon when two student-journalists at Auburn University posted photographs on Twitter. On Monday night, Sen. Doug Jones (D-Ala.), who prosecuted two members of the Klan for their role in the 1963 Birmingham church bombing that killed four young girls, called the editorial “disgusting” and demanded Sutton’s immediate resignation. “I have seen what happens when we stand by while people-especially those with influence- publish racist, hateful views,” he wrote.

Echoing the call for Sutton’s resignation was Rep. Terri A. Sewell (D-Ala.), who wrote, “For the millions of people of color who have been terrorized by white supremacy, this kind of ‘editorializing’ about lynching is not a joke — it is a threat."

Of course the Daily Caller furor is simply diversion. You don't think that they reported this do you?

Quote:
Amid the sea of dark suits and red “Make America Great Again” gear behind President Trump at his televised speech in Miami on Monday, one man stood out. Appearing above the president in some live shots, he wore dark sunglasses, a black baseball cap and a black T-shirt with a message of support for Trump’s longtime adviser now facing federal charges: “Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong!”

The man is notable for more than his attire, though. Enrique Tarrio is the chairman of the Proud Boys, a far-right, self-described “western chauvinist” organization known for violently clashing with antifascists and for its alleged links to white nationalists.

wasn't the hate crimes that were documented over 7,000 last year? up 17 percent..

a national emergency....

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/13/us/hate-crimes-fbi-2017.html

Quote:
Hate crime reports increased 17 percent last year from 2016, the F.B.I. said on Tuesday, rising for the third consecutive year as heated racial rhetoric and actions have come to dominate the news.

Of the more than 7,100 hate crimes reported last year, nearly three out of five were motivated by race and ethnicity, according to the annual report. Religion and sexual orientation were the other two primary motivators.

according to Malibu Barfie and his low-no-level thinking, and his false equivalancy this below is equal to a false report by some rare event of a idiot person making a false police report.

Note we do not have this all over right wing media like brietbart, fox news and so on for days weeks.

Man punches and throws hot coffee on Sikh 7-Eleven clerk because he 'hates Muslims'

Quote:
A man has been charged with a hate crime after allegedly attacking a Sikh employee of a California 7-Eleven convenience store.

The man can allegedly be seen on surveillance footage punching the employee, and throwing coffee on him after he attempted to leave without paying for coffee. The man, identified by police as John Crain, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department.

Mr Crain has admitted to the attack, and reportedly told police that hates Muslim, according to the Sacramento Bee.

A local news station has confirmed that the clerk was Sikh, and not Muslim. The clerk reportedly survived the incident with a burn on his face, and injuries from the hot coffee.

The attack was met with condemnation from local Sikh and Muslim organisations, including the Sacramento Valley office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

“We condemn this attack on an individual because of his faith,” Saad Sweilem, civil rights attorney for group, said in a statement.

Mr Sweilem continued: “This hate crime represents yet another attack on our Sikh brothers and sisters fueled by Islamophobia and those emboldened by this administration’s xenophobic policies and sentiments. We welcome the hate crime charges and encourage law enforcement to continue to take these clear incidents of bias seriously.”

Thank you for you service...

A Coast Guard lieutenant arrested last Friday on gun and drug charges allegedly wanted to conduct a mass killing.

Christopher Paul Hasson, 49, of Silver Spring, Maryland, is alleged to be a white supremacist who had a hit list that included prominent Democratic politicians as well as several journalists from CNN and MSNBC. Hasson's case was first circulated by counterterrorism expert Seamus Hughes and the George Washington Program on Extremism.
Hasson's hit list includes Democratic politicians -- Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, of New York, Sens. Chuck Schumer, of New York, Cory Booker, of New Jersey, Richard Blumenthal, of Connecticut and Kamala Harris, of California and former Rep. Beto O'Rourke, of Texas -- as well as CNN journalists Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo and Van Jones and MSNBC's Chris Hayes, Ari Melber and Joe Scarborough.
Court documents say Hasson espoused extremist and white supremacist views and allege that he relied on the manifesto of Anders Breivik, a Norwegian who was convicted in 2011 of two terror attacks that killed 77 people.

Seems like Trump's FBI was on to his shenanigans.

P.S., the black supremacist Smollett has been charged. What he did was a hate crime. What he did was try to lynch all white Trump supporters.

Leftist fools

Vandals went after the wrong Confederate monument Thursday night and instead burned a World War 2 general’s statue in North Carolina.

Major General William C. Lee’s statue was burned around 10 p.m. Thursday after “someone poured flammable liquid over the white marble statue” and set it ablaze, according to a Facebook post on Feb. 15 from the William C. Lee Airborne Museum in Dunn, North Carolina.
