60% of families with children living at home agree that “my children will have a better future if they leave California.” (According to a CalChamber poll from 2018).
No doubt this anxiety comes from the ever increasing cost of living in CA. For too many, the dream of homeownership and simply affording to live in our state is simply out of reach. Sacramento policies continue to make it worse, but the ruling party doesn’t seem to care and continue to propose millions more in tax and fee increases every year.

CalChamber Poll: Job Optimism, Housing Anxiety, Support for Bipartisanship

How is the price of a house related to government policies? Does not the market, not the government, determine the cost of a house? Some government policies my impact the price, but overall, it's factors beyond the control of government that have the most impact on housing costs in California.

NW—as usual, you know almost nothing about the causes of housing costs, or what the government is doing about it. As usual, you don’t let facts get in the way of simplistic conclusions. |

Both you and Vientominos obviously didn't read the article, it mentions that. |

Oh I did read it, but here is what you wrote: "For too many, the dream of homeownership and simply affording to live in our state is simply out of reach. Your statement intimates, if not outright claims, that the government is making housing costs higher through taxes and fees.
Please ifentify the taxes and fees which are diving housing costs up and explain the percentage of the sale price attributed to said taxes and fees. |

California haters have invented a story that people are leaving California in droves because of taxes and Democrats. In fact, California is 49th of the 50th states in out-migration. But Matty, Isobars and Techno need to stay where they are. |

You need to provide support for that statement. It seems just the opposite from what I can find. |
