Darn it!!! I SUP foil and now I HAVE to torment myself on buying another toy, this sport really should come with a warning label!

someone mentioned riding with no harness and arm fatigue
i get the feeling that foiling is similar to when i windsurf on the ice
there is so little resistance that there is no need to use the harness
sail is smaller and no resistance
i think if i start foiling i will definitely be without a harness !!
was looking at the kitewing years ago
but some of these toys are just just too $$$
oh well - i will wait until the market is saturated Smile

Yes! It attaches to the center of the leading edge. Attachment point is that button you see between the I and S. Dropping the wing, it will turn upside down and float effortlessly. Not a danger in any way.

I do think this looks like fun and would love to try it!

One of the things I don't like about kites is that you are tethered directly to the kite with the harness. A lot can go wrong.......

Somebody mentioned anything about wind shadow or if the wind just drops? Why not push the dirt windsurfing sport instead?
ANYONE could do it, almost anywhere.

Looks like a really fun, simple beach toy. I love the idea. Probably great to bring to a beach if you feel like having the wind tow you around on a SUP, but don't feel like bringing the mast, boom, sail, etc.. I'll certainly be tempted to get one whenever they go on sale.

Somehow though, a foil board just doesn't scream simplicity to me, and
I got the impression SUP wasn't all that fun.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as is the definition of fun. I get the impression this is designed for SUP people who sometimes have to struggle with wind.

I guess you can't call it SUP anymore (I mean where is your paddle).
It's more like SUK (yuk yuk) ;*)
