What foil?
Np's alu whistle is well documented, even a video cure.
Naish does a low throb with bubbly background.

leave it...it actually helps to know when you're "in the zone"
Theoretically slower, i think it's fun

Some peeps sand the trailing edge to eliminate

My Makani Kohola makes funny high pitch sound. Kind of liking it, left it alone. Smile

Last nite while foiling was thinking how quiet the whole thing is, so you start hearing all kinds of little noises.......I could tell when I was getting close to a breach (wing close to surface) with a bubbling noise..Trippy fun

Have wondered whether it would make sense to have a whistle hole on the mast so that you know when you are too high....but then I just got a bigger mast

My GoFoil makes a lot of noise.
It starts when starting to fly, pitch goes up with speed.
Then goes completely silent when very fast.
It used to drive me crazy , but now it's a great indicator of my speed, esp when accelerating surfing a wave.
When it goes silent it's "oh oh here comes the breaching" time Shocked Shocked

Same. i breached so much early on I wondered about taping drinking straws to the mast about 4 inches above the fuselage.
