Hi Gang,

With all the eddies in recent years it has been a long time since we have seen a marine surge kill a heat wave and bring massive winds to Sherman Island.

Compare these 2 satellite animations as the Bay Area goes from hot and near windless to cool and blasting.

Especially watch the gaps in the coast range that funnel and accelerate the winds.
