so fux new about this before the election, and did nothing but surpress it. Does that truely mean they should be registered as the RNC?

doesn't this prove that it was political not him trying to protect his marriage which he was a known adulterer and his wife worked illegally in the porno industry?

So was there an illegal conspiracy with Fux to violate campaign finances?

wtf obviously fux has something to hide or they would remove the NDA about the story with her. are all right wingers criminals...

A former Fox News employee plans to tell Congress about allegations that the outlet tried to stop her from reporting on the Stormy Daniels controversy during the 2016 election, citing an exception to a nondisclosure agreement she signed.

On Thursday, House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings formally requested that the reporter, Diana Falzone, talk with committee investigators and provide documents related to her attempts to report on Daniels’ allegations that Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former longtime lawyer, paid her hush money after an alleged affair with Trump in 2006.

Falzone’s lawyer, Nancy Erika Smith, told MSNBC on Thursday night that Falzone will now comply under an exception to her NDA with Fox News.

“The law requires that you be allowed to participate in any government investigation — and no NDA can stop that,” Smith said on "The Beat with Ari Melber."

Cummings’ letter requests an interview with Falzone and any documents regarding payments by Trump “to silence women alleging extramarital affairs with him prior to the 2016 presidential election,” and “any action taken against [Falzone] in connection with attempts to report on such stories.”

The New Yorker reported this month that Fox News prevented Falzone from reporting on Daniels’ allegations during the election to protect Trump, which Fox denies. A former Fox News executive also maintains the story was shelved because it was not journalistically ready, not because of any political agenda.

In her MSNBC interview, Smith specifically rebutted that account, calling it a “lie” and saying the executive was not the person who prevented Falzone’s story from being published.

“We’ll see what the evidence shows about how Fox reacted to this story,” Smith added.

The lawyer for Daniels at the time, Keith Davidson, tells MSNBC that Falzone did contact him while she was working on the story during the campaign with “specific details.”

“She had the amount, she had the corporate names that the original settlement was named in, she had the dates of the affair,” Davidson said, “and she asked me to confirm those details.”

The letter from Cummings comes days after Smith publicly suggested Congress could help her client speak by providing a lawful end run around her NDA with Fox News.

“Maybe Congress should subpoena my client and all of her records,” Smith said in an MSNBC interview, “and then we will see exactly what Fox News had.”

Fmr Fox News reporter asks Congress: subpoena me to override NDA
MARCH 11, 201908:57
Many NDA agreements include provisions that broadly bar public statements but still provide exceptions for complying with criminal and government investigations. Falzone has not released the text of her NDA.

Many legal experts say a legitimate congressional request overrides a typical NDA, and even if an NDA tried to bar such cooperation, courts are unlikely to punish someone for responding to a valid investigative request for information.

University of Florida law professor Mark Fenster, a transparency expert, says courts typically put aside an NDA when a person is “responding to a properly issued congressional subpoena.”

Orly Lobel, an expert on employment law at the University of San Diego School of Law, said Falzone could “tell her story” without worry if she were responding to a lawful congressional request as this is a “matter of public concern.”

Fox News did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Cummings’ request.

Other members of Congress have also weighed in on the issue.

Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., who sits on the House Judiciary committee, tweeted about his willingness to use formal congressional requests to free people who “feel silenced” from speaking out about the Trump administration.

“Using NDAs to intimidate and silence government employees and other potential whistleblowers is deeply troubling,” Lieu added in a statement.

The Women Who Accused Trump Of Sexual Misconduct Want Alva Johnson To Be Heard

“We’ve seen this type of behavior from [Trump] over decades,” one woman said.

In a more normal time, if a woman alleged the man who would become the U.S. president kissed her without consent, it might be a major national story meriting weeks of intense news coverage.

But the current president is Donald Trump, who has now been accused of sexual misconduct and harassment by more than twenty women, who was caught on tape boasting about groping, and who was elected to office anyway. So when Alva Johnson, a former Trump campaign staffer, revealed last month that Trump had forcibly kissed her prior to his election, her name was added to the long list, and the news cycle mostly moved on.

Other women who have publicly accused Trump of sexual misconduct and misbehavior are disappointed he has faced no repercussions, several told HuffPost. They feel as if many people simply don’t care. They also recognize there are so many accusations of wrongdoing by Trump at this point, it’s hard to keep track. But they support Johnson — and would still encourage other possible victims to come forward.

Rachel Crooks was not surprised to see Johnson’s claim because “we’ve seen this type of behavior from [Trump] over decades,” she told HuffPost in an email. She has alleged Trump forcibly kissed her without her consent more than ten years ago, when she was 22.

“I was also sad because we’ve let Alva Johnson down,” she added. “If our society would’ve held Trump accountable for his actions, she may not have had to endure this.”

Johnson claims in her lawsuit, filed last month against Trump in federal court, that in August of 2016 when she was working as a staffer for Trump’s campaign, he forcibly kissed her on the mouth. She tried to avoid the kiss by turning her head away, and the incident left her confused and humiliated. Johnson, who is black, also says she experienced race and gender discrimination and was underpaid compared to white and male employees.

I was also sad because we’ve let Alva Johnson down. If our society would’ve held Trump accountable for his actions, she may not have had to endure this.
Rachel Crooks, a woman who said Trump kissed her without consent
Less than two months after Trump allegedly kissed Johnson without consent, The Washington Post published the Access Hollywood tape, where Trump bragged that he could grab women “by the pussy.” Many women subsequently went public about their own interactions with Trump. Johnson was horrified by the tape, according to her lawsuit, because the conduct Trump boasted of was so similar to what she had experienced. She quit his campaign shortly afterward, the lawsuit says.

“It seems right now we’re going backward,” Johnson told Teen Vogue in an interview published this month. “This wasn’t appropriate for a long time. Now the most powerful man in the world is making fun of people who are coming forward [about sexual abuse], calling them liars even though their stories are so consistent.”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called Johnson’s accusation “absurd on its face.” Trump has repeatedly denied allegations of sexual misconduct against him. “You are a disgusting human being,” he told a New York Times reporter who questioned him about some of the women’s claims. He dismissed his comments in the Access Hollywood tape as “locker-room banter.” He also in 2016 threatened to sue his accusers. That never happened.

It was only a matter of time before someone from Trump’s campaign or administration had a similar experience to what other women have been speaking about for years now, said Samantha Holvey, a former Miss North Carolina USA.

Holvey said that when she met Trump at an event prior to the Miss USA pageant in 2006, he eyed her like a “piece of meat.” She had “never felt so objectified and dirty,” she said. A few days later, she said, she was in her robe in the hair and makeup area, and he walked in, in a way that felt to her like he “wanted to exert his dominance and power.” (Trump has bragged about getting away with going backstage when contestants were getting dressed, though his campaign generally denied claims that he did so.)

“He’s been sexually assaulting and harassing women for decades with no repercussions so why would he stop now?” Holvey told HuffPost in an email.

Although some women have accused Trump of behavior that fits the definition of groping, many of the reported incidents occurred a long time ago, and the statutes of limitations have expired. Johnson hopes to get justice, not just for herself, but all the victims, her attorney, Hassan Zavareei, told HuffPost a phone interview.

Most of her friends and family, even strangers on the street, have been encouraging to Johnson, Zavareei said. But “Trump’s behavior and bad actions have become so normalized, that it barely registers on the public consciousness,” he added.

Part of the reason Johnson wanted to come forward, he added, was to say, “it’s not normal, it’s not okay.” He raised the question of how the public might react if the accused were another president.

The living former president whose alleged conduct perhaps comes closest is Bill Clinton, who was repeatedly accused of sexual misconduct and whose affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky has drawn fresh scrutiny over the unequal power dynamics. In Clinton’s case, he denied the misconduct allegations, however, the Republican-led House of Representatives moved to impeach him.

Trump on rape accuser: 'She's not my type'

Quote:
The Hill:

President Trump said Monday that writer E. Jean Carroll was “totally lying” when she recently accused him of raping her during an encounter in a New York department store in the mid-1990s.

In an exclusive interview with The Hill, the president vehemently denied the allegations just hours after Carroll detailed the alleged incident during a cable news interview.

“I’ll say it with great respect: Number one, she’s not my type. Number two, it never happened. It never happened, OK?” the president said while seated behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

Oh, as long as you say it with great respect. Well, never mind then.

He’s used this defense before, of course — saying he couldn’t have possibly sexually assaulted a particular woman because she’s not good-looking enough. As if that’s 1) in any way relevant and 2) a defense of anything. (When Jessica Leeds claimed, prior to the 2016 election, that Trump had groped her on a flight, Trump said, “Yeah, I’m gonna go after her. Believe me, she would not be my first choice. That I can tell you. You don’t know. That would not be my first choice.”)

And, of course, his statement today implies that there is a certain type of woman he does like to rape.

How is this steaming pile of offal the president of anything, much less the United States?

Words continue to fail me.

Unreal.

Trump’s third response to assault allegation is arguably his worst
06/25/19 08:00 AM—UPDATED 06/25/19 02:34 PM
By Steve Benen
Quote:
The public learned on Friday about new sexual-assault allegations E. Jean Carroll, a longtime writer and media figure, raised against Donald Trump. Her account, published as a book excerpt in New York magazine, described an alleged incident in a department store in the mid-1990s in which the future president attacked her in a dressing room.

Carroll said she told two friends about the alleged incident at the time, both of whom are journalists the writer did not identify by name. She’s the latest in a series of women who’ve accused Trump of misconduct.

As we’ve discussed, the president issued a written response on Friday afternoon, claiming he’s never met Carroll. The New York magazine article, however, included a photograph of the two interacting at an event years before the alleged attack.

His second response came a day later, during a brief Q&A with reporters, when Trump again said he has “no idea who this woman is,” before sharing details about Carroll’s background. He proceeded to dismiss the relevance of the photograph, before comparing himself to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, which wasn’t exactly helpful.

All of which set the stage for Response #3.

The president’s “not my type” rhetoric made it sound as if he doesn’t consider Carroll attractive enough to attack.

And while that’s obviously indefensible, it’s also painfully familiar. This report, published just a few weeks before Election Day 2016, comes to mind.

Trump went further to say he’d never met these people, despite one of the accusers, Natasha Stoynoff, having done an in-person interview with Trump and his wife Melania early in their marriage. Trump flatly called Stoynoff “a liar” and directed the crowd to “check out her Facebook page – you’ll understand.”

Trump said another accuser, Jessica Leeds, who alleges Trump groped her on an airplane thirty years ago, “Would not be his first choice.”

“When you looked at that horrible woman last night,” Trump said in an apparent reference to her appearance on CNN, “you said, I don’t think so, I don’t think so.”

As we discussed at the time, the not-so-subtle implication was that Trump doesn’t find one of his accusers physically attractive, so we shouldn’t believe her claims of sexual assault.

A controversy ensued at the time, though Trump apparently learned nothing from it

Leading Trump ally faces ethics probe over alleged witness tampering
Quote:
The day before Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony, one of Donald Trump’s most flamboyantly partisan allies sent the former “fixer” an unusual message via Twitter.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) wrote, “Do your wife & father-in-law know about your girlfriends? Maybe tonight would be a good time for that chat. I wonder if she’ll remain faithful when you’re in prison. She’s about to learn a lot.”

As regular readers may recall, legal experts weighed in almost immediately, suggesting the online missive looked an awful lot like the Republican congressman was trying to influence Cohen’s testimony – which would be witness tampering, which is a felony.

Why E. Jean Carroll's friend almost didn't go public with corroboration of Trump assault
Quote:
On Wednesday, Lisa Birnbach sat down with CNN’s Anderson Cooper for her first televised interview on Cuomo Prime Time. Lisa Birnbach made the news last week when it was revealed on The New York Times podcast, “The Daily,” that she was one of two women E. Jean Caroll confided in after allegedly being sexually assaulted by President Trump in 1996. On the podcast, Birnbach recalled a phone call she received from Carroll shortly after the alleged incident took place. While speaking with Cooper, she admitted she was reluctant to go public with her side of the story. She said, “I totally did not want to do this.” When Anderson pushed for a reason why, Birnbach said, “I didn't want to because mean and devastating things are posted by people who feel like this is a politically motivated attack” Birnbach was adamant that her willingness to come forward was not politically motivated. “No one's attacking here,” she said, “I'm just saying what I heard on the telephone.” During the rest of the interview, Birnbach recalled the phone call she had with Caroll. She also revealed that she was the one who suggested Carroll was raped, based on what she had been told. Anderson asked, “You used that word to her, this is rape?” To which Birnbach replied, “That's the word that came to mind.”

will their names ever see justice...

again all the clinton accusers had a independent ultra right wing run 6 year investigation. Ultra partisan Kennith Star and ultra partisan Supreme court justice Kavanaugh who printed a manual of everything and went to the lowest low and not one grand jury would indict and that was an investigation to go anywhere they wanted. Had no national security implications and was 6 years or more.

here we have over 20 females and one with witnesses when she was 14 years old begging for her life.
