Some trade winds finally on Friday. 4.7 Firelight/93L Starboard. 4.2 conditions on the outside. Had planned to learn to wingfoil this week but they are fully booked for lessons. Turned 70 yesterday and so glad to still do what we do. I plan to foil on Sun when the conditions are lighter.[/i]

Happy Birthday, Bert!
And congratulations on being 70 and still looking like the spitting image of a younger Bruce Lee!

Natural Bridges came through again today. At least for sailSUP. There was a surfing contest at Waddell, little wind, and the fog rolled in. The place that shall not be named had little wind, little waves, and the fog sometimes in and sometimes not. Natural Bridges remained clear of fog and had wind up to 17, gusting to 20 at times, although most often less. Smaller gear would have been nice at 17 and above, but would have been not much fun at what most of the day was or for windsurfing nearer to shore. So sailSUP with 7.0 was the call.

Windsurfed Pleasure Point today & yesterday. Better waves today. Was on my Angulo SailSUP with an Ezzy Cheetah 7.0 both days. Pics attached tell the story.

Really wanted to foil so rig 5.2 at 8-15 and the wind immediately goes to 15-21 as I hit the water.
Get 6 runs in and switch to windsurf 5.2 and Freeride for an hour.

Hey W1, what time were you out there on Monday? Get any grief from the surfers?

Hi Tom,
I was out from 4-O-Clock to just after 5. No grief from the surfers. If you look at the GPS tracks you can see I sailed outside of 2nd Peak and cut out before getting to the pack of surfers. Essentially turned the wave over to them. I was getting my piece on the outside. Also the tracks show I avoided the crowd at Jack's. What I call Third Peak was pretty much open and that is where my tracks go all the way in towards shore. Hit bottom on that west-most inside one. Oops!
I did get one run from outside of 2nd Peak all the way into the beach, but I ended up using three different waves to do it. Sometimes, when the wind is a little stronger, I can get from outside 1st Peak all the way to Jacks on a single wave, staying outside of the surfers all of the way. Did not get to do that either Sunday or Monday.
W1
