Shout out to Bruce Peterson!
I stopped by the shop the other day (Oct 19th) to talk quiver with Bruce, mentioned the Windsurf Now photo of him from 1985 and casually asked, "when did you start Sailworks?"
"30 years ago today! Oct 19, 1989"
So thanks to Bruce for being such an anchor of the Gorge windsurfing community for so long. So many of us have benefitted from his expertise and advocacy. |

Thanks, Peter, time flies when you're having fun! I've been very fortunate to discover windsurfing at an early age, fall in love with the sport and the technical side of the equipment, be surrounded with hard-working inspiring people and live in a cool town where the wind blows. Still living the dream!
