I am sad to say that my dog Bela is gone. She was always with me as we chased the wind across the bay area. R.I.P Bela!

Yes, Bela was a special dog.

Loved tossing tennis balls to her back in the day.

Very sorry to hear.

David

Dang dogs just don't live long enough, and some day we turn the tables on them. Given a choice, I always give them ice cream as the vet puts them under.

Crap. Can't read the screen any more. Must be something in my eye.

You'll get over it ... if you're young enough to live that long.

I didn’t know Bela, we have 4 dogs, we have had many. They are better than some humans, side from chewing shoes.
We lost my 15 yo in December , he rode on both a snowboard and windsurfer with me.
Not gone from our hearts, so sorry.

So sad, I'm also going to miss lumpy dog. Sweetest and best behaved dog I have ever known! She had a Great Life!

Sorry to hear the sad news, Gordon. Things won't be the same without her. I will miss her friendly greetings.

Sorry about this, I think I remember Bela from east bay sailing. Dogs are special. My dog Stretch the dachshund was run over in my driveway by a UPS truck recently. He's old but not yet on his way out. We had no choice but to hop on a plane to Oahu (nobody on Maui could put him back together) to get him the care he needed. It set us back a large chunk of change, but you just cannot put a price on a good dog. He is recovering, he can walk now, but needs a boost to get up on his hind legs.
