Back when sliding spreader bars came with most harnesses, all my buds disabled the sliding feature. It's a preference, not a panacea. |

I can only say, which is what I have been saying, that the old T-6 that had the sliding spreader had me unhooking, and staying unhooked, most of the time. The problem that I have with the T-8 isn't as much about the non-sliding spreader as it is about the padded spreader of any type. Heck, had I have bought the T-8 with the slider I may have had the same issue, as it too has the padding.
That is one of the problems down here in SoCal, we have no way to demo anything. We just have to roll the dice, which I did. I still like DaKine's stuff. I'm just surprised that more windsurfer testers didn't have any issues that may have triggered a revision. Oh well, it's not my company. And maybe the few guys here, me included, are the only ones who had unhooking issues.
Now the only issue is, where is my wind and waves? And why did summer have to end so soon? |
