Myopic people stick to WSJ and oil company talking points, ignoring all other signs of improvement in the last year. Flacks studiously ignore the crimes of the last administration--including 13 people using public resources to campaign for Drumpf.

Boggsy, Your myopia is absolutely stunning. Biden approval - 38%; Harris approval - lowest of any VP for more than half a century; your "transitory" inflation now at 6.2%; Biden begging OPEC to increase production while preaching the evils of hydrocarbons.......and on and on. But you are profiting handsomely from this Fed and spending binge market run, so who cares if those less fortunate than you have to pay more for everything? The government can just send them another check. A year is a long time, but, if this keeps up, you will most certainly care.

So, you do follow polls like a hawk these days.. ok. Gotcha
Oil is $82/barrel... it was $148 in June of 2008, which is about $225 in today's dollars..I'm sure you were raging at Dubya during that period....right?
The fact is, the average household has record savings, record. So, the inflation we are experiencing is not having a big impact as of yet.

Oh yeah? Latinos are fed up. My plumbers, carpenters, roofers are all voting for Trump. Just see the 95% Latino counties in Texas who've massively shifted their political ideologies..

I'm talking economics...of course Joe would lose if an election were held this year .. BTW-- Trump is gone, he lost.

Wow! You conclude that it's all OK (Who cares?....Let's go Joe!) based on that embarrassingly superficial analysis. Your clients should be very afraid.

Sensitive after $120/barrel. 2.25% ten year. Rich people don't panic like you seem to be doing, its one of the reasons they are rich. Go back to your British Baking shows now.
...and we are always substantially hedged, so me guessing when inflation will matter is less consequential.....we are a ways off, a ways off.

Boggsy, You continue to embarrass yourself with your astonishingly narrow view of the world. "Who cares" you say........how about the overwhelming majority of people in this country, and around the world, who are not "substantially hedged", whose living standards are being hurt by inflation and would be crushed by sustained $120/ bbl crude? How about corn prices going up, as we divert food production to gas tanks? "Who cares" if the world's poorest can afford less of that staple?

As for panicking..........a couple of months ago you mocked my assertion that investments in major oil companies was relatively stress free for me. You were hyperventilating that XOM could have gone bankrupt; wiser heads knew that the O&G business has always been cyclical. Most "rich" people understand the broader picture. There is no doubt, however, that some become wealthy despite their narrow perspective. Let's go Joe!
