Have a slingshot wizard 150 for wind foiling. Foil is hoverglide 76 cm.

Have a feeling this set up may not work for winging. Thinking of buying a wing foil package (Board, foil, wing) but not sure where to start. Weigh around 150 lb and sail on lake Champlain.

I also wonder how the wings can get on foil with such low speed and in low wind.

I do both.
Get on foil about the same.
With similar sized foils, of course.
But windsurf does need about 1.5 meter bigger sail, in the same wind.

So by far I am no expert on wing foiling. Matter of fact, my first attempt didn't go well. I did windsurf foil for 3 years until my local spot went dry. There is a video from Slingshot stating that your windsurf foiling gear is great for winging as a beginner. If your board has foil tracks all the better. No need to invest in gear until you get some basics or find out if winging is for you. Just buy a wing and a pump and go for a ride. Maybe find a used infinity 84 to get early lift.. Depends on the wind you get on the lake. Slingshot and Naish have really good sales on wings right now. After a few weeks on the water, you will know where you are going in this sport. Then think about up grading your gear.

Above advice is good.
Just shove front wing most forward, and same for fuselage direction.
Wing does not get on foil sooner than windfoil.
The good guys on wing are using 8 lbs. boards, are advanced, and high aspect foils.
O76 is big enough for your weight for wing.
