we have a fleet of 30 or so melody boards that we would like to improve traction on... any ideas? |

The Melody was made with PolyEthelene I believe. A cheep idea would be to roughen them up with very course sandpaper in a rotary sander. Another idea is to get some sticky-backed EVA material, like the stuff thats on the Starboard Start. You probably could get a roll of it, then cut it yourself. It may not stick to PE though, try one board first. Another idea, find a thin glue that sticks to PE (maybe Redeck works?) and sprinkle sugar on while its wet.

dont take sugar take salt sugar will give you a agressive texture. |

Do what I do and use sticky sex wax. (surfboard wax). Your boards will look pretty ugly but nobody will want to steal them . K.P. |
