I may have to be in Boston in July. I was curious what the windsurfing is like around there? Any wavesailing that time of year? What shops might I look up? Thanks. |

The best wind in July is usually thermal winds, southwest, on the cape, look at Kalmus or West Dennis Beach but not much waves there, can get some info from IWindsurf site info. If we get a rare storm system going thru there might be some good wind around Boston- waves in a NorthEast wind can be found at Duxbury oceanside, Nahant, and some other sites near Boston, Chapin on the Cape is often great in a NE or NW for waves. It's not the best time of year for windsurfing here unless you can go anytime and drive to where the wind is, usually Kalmus.
Good Luck!
