Aloha!,
I am looking for a person who can strip down and and custom paint a JP Freestyle Wave 98. I would like to have Jamaican flag colors in three band (Yellow, Red & Green) along with Rasta Lions on the bottom. On the top I would like to hav ethe cover to the Bob Marley Album Uprising. So, the artist/airbrushing will need to be very high end.
I live in the Southbay of LA.
Anyone know of someone who can help me with this?
alhenterpris@hotmail.com
thanks!
Lee

Perhaps a shop that does custom paint for cars? Then of course you'll need a new quiver of these awsome looking sails:

Thanks everyone! I know Eva and am going to call her today. I was thinking of her as repairs but definately she probably knows people...
Mike: OMG! Those sails are amazing! What kind are they and where do I sign up...
Thanks!

Yeh mon, those rasta sails are from Hot Sails Maui... the Super Freak line. Those guys will build you a sail with just about any graphic you want for a price. They're a trip to sail 'cause of the old school Dacron scrim they use, very quiet and extremely smooth in the transitions. Try Rock'n Roll Graphics in LA, they generally do custom motorcycles and cars but I'm sure they'd do your JP proud! One Love, Bull

Glenn at Hot Sails Maui is becoming a very sought after artist in the windsurfing world. He's done many of the freaks you'll see on the HSM site and as well as the art on the current ASD board line. As Bull mentioned, he can help you with the art for any super freak you can imagine. Check the HSM website for information on custom freaks. Surfinsports.com can hook you up with a sweet deal on a quiver of freaks should you decide you like them. I sure hope to see your kit on the water this summer!
Now... would somebody please hit the wind switch!
Mike

Oh, ME TOO, MEEEE TOOOOOOO!!!
I'd love to own the Marley sails or a board with such design too. I'm already picturing cruising around on the water, with the song "Satisfy My Soul" in my head...."Oh please, don't you rock my boat, 'cause I don't want my boat to be rockin'..."
Now for the dry legal issues: DOES MAUI SAILS HAVE A LICENSE TO USE THE PICTURE OF BOB MARLEY ON HIS SAILS? If not, he'll be shut down on those sails promptly!

Correction: I meant HOT SAILS MAUI, not MAUI SAILS. Thus, does Hot Sails Maui have a license from the Marley Foundation for the use of his likeness?
