when they're not jibing around floaters at dear Leo, with its recent "fecal contamination blues" (Still rated "C" by heal the bay)
(for the record, the July spill was up by 9th or 10th street -- Cabrillo is 36-40th, and the outer beach got A's for the testing during the purported spill. Indeed, while Leo has been getting Cs and Ds, the outer beach at Cabrillo has been getting As and A+) |

nealpar's comment was more in line with the lack of waves at Cabrillo, and not so much about the water quality. Hence the reference to "lakes and bays".
There is wind and south swell in the forecast for today. If it comes true then turds or not, there will be people at Leo. |

May they all be free from suffering.
Shark attack is unusual, since a top-species as the human, does not usually succum too often like that.
I hope that we all reflect at our own impermmance in light of such events and make even the shark our friend, instead of polluting the environment and killing everything in sight!!!!

Jwajack, I'd rather eat seagull shit at Leo, than sail in waters where illegal immigrants defecate and remove their tampons into the ocean where you sail. Have you seen the &*#$ that washes up on the shores at Cabrillo? Nasty!!!
Don't worry, most Leo sailors wouldn't be caught dead at your beloved Cabrillo! |
