That boat at sherman island

Info and Ideas on how to remove that decaying Sailboat at sherman...

At some point it's gonna rust off metal into the beach, and there is a smell of chemical eminating from it.

Is it the countys responsabilty to remove derilict craft from shore? Exclamation

owner's responsibility first, then the County. I was there the day after it happened last year. County's people were there taking pictures and said that the owner was going to try to retrieve the boat, I guess it would cost more money than the boat is worth.

The owner has tried to move it, but then again if he had a clue it wouldn't be there in the first place. Rumor has it the county had a tug try to move it, obviously without success. I'd like to see it moved to the City of Alameda to thank them for the lovely "cruise ship" at Decker Island.
